The 1st International Biological Information Objects (BiO) Conference
Korean Bioinformation Center (KOBIC) is planning to hold the 1st International Biological Information Objects (BiO) Conference on September 3, 2009 in Daejeon, Korea.
The conference is organized to offer a series of scientific presentations led by internationally renowned authorities on bioinformatics.
Specially, this year’s agenda will intensively cover topics related to proteomics and personal genomics.
KOBIC, established in 2006, is the largest national research institute in Korea dedicated to research and development activities in all areas of bioinformatics such as genomics,
proteomics, and expressomics.
In addition, KOBIC performs core functions as a national center to deposit, process, and service all bio-related information produced in Korea.
KOBIC is affiliated with Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB), which serves as a representative national institute for all areas of biological research.
